The theatre opens one hour before the performance.
Can I show my ticket on my smartphone, or do I need to print it?
If you receive or download your ticket in digital format, you can simply show it to staff on your smartphone.
How early can I enter the auditorium before the performance starts?
SAudience members may enter the auditorium 30 minutes before the performance begins. Entry is signaled by a series of bells: the first bell rings 30 minutes before the start, the second 15 minutes before, and the final bell 5 minutes before, inviting the audience to take their seats promptly.
Is it easy to find my seat?
Yes, all seats are clearly numbered and signposted. Ushers are on hand to assist you in finding your seat.
Is there a cloakroom in the theatre?
Yes, the theatre provides a free cloakroom service for its audience.
Is there a bar inside the Theatre?
Yes, there is an internal bar, open one hour before the performance and during the interval, if applicable.
Is there a bookshop inside the Theatre?
Yes, the Teatro Nuovo Giovanni da Udine has a bookshop where you can find theatre-related books, merchandise, and branded items. It is open only during performances.
Is it allowed to eat or drink in the auditorium?
No, food and drinks are not permitted inside the auditorium.
What is the seating capacity of the Theatre?
The Main Hall has 1,168 seats, plus 6 reserved for people with reduced mobility.

Photography and video recording during performances are not permitted due to copyright and image rights. However, taking photos or short videos is allowed during the final applause at the end of the event.
Is parking available near the theatre?
Yes, public parking is available nearby, including the car park behind the theatre (on Viale Trieste ), Primo Maggio car park, and Andreuzzi car park.
